We store nothing. Here is exactly what that means.

Your events and remindersRead from and written to Apple Calendar and Reminders on your Mac through Apple’s EventKit. Taskical keeps no copy, no cache on disk, no database. Quit the app and nothing of yours remains in it.
ContactsRead only, with your permission, to show names and photos next to attendees. Never uploaded, never modified.
InvitationsWhen you add people to an event, Taskical writes the attendee list to that account’s own calendar service (Google, Microsoft, iCloud), which sends the invitation. Sign-in tokens live in your Keychain. We never see them.
Location remindersStored as Apple location alarms inside Reminders. Taskical does not access your location; Apple’s Reminders fires the alert.
PreferencesCalendar sets, appearance and shortcuts are saved in your macOS preferences and synced by iCloud if you allow it.
What we receiveNothing, unless you send feedback. Then: your message, and if you opt in, app and macOS version, account types (iCloud / Google / Exchange, never addresses) and the view you were in. No analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs.
Effective September 2026. Questions: hello@taskical.app.
